Russia disburses 299 bln rbl for fuel price regulation in September
MOSCOW, Oct 4 (PRIME) -- Oil producers received 298.7 billion rubles from the state budget in September in the framework of the fuel price regulation mechanism, the Finance Ministry said on Wednesday.
The fuel price dampening mechanism was established in order to control the domestic gasoline and diesel fuel prices. The government will compensate oil firms for some difference between the national market and export prices.
The fuel price regulation terms changed since September 1 until 2027, and now envisage a 50% reduction of the payments.
